Murphy Plumbing is owned by Mike and Connie Murphy of Grants Pass, Oregon and has been doing business in the Rogue Valley since 1976. Our founder, Lou Murphy, now deceased, started the business after relocating to Grants Pass from Crestline, California. After graduating from high school in 1977, Mike joined the business and began learning the trade as he worked alongside his father. Mike became an Oregon State licensed journeyman plumber in 1981 and co-owner of Murphy Plumbing in 1988 when Lou decided to retire and pursue other interests. Lou really enjoyed restoring model A’s and model T’s and was an avid garage sale enthusiast. He also loved spending time traveling with his wife, Joeann, as well as playing golf at the many wonderful courses in the Rogue Valley. Upon Lou retiring in 1988, Mike joined in partnership with his brother Pat, then in 1994 his brother, Rob, joined the Murphy Plumbing team. In Jan of 2004, Mike joined in partnership with his wife Connie and they became sole owners of Murphy Plumbing LLC to serve the needs of Josephine County plumbing.
Murphy Plumbing is a full service, licensed, bonded and insured plumbing business with extensive experience in service, repairs, new construction, remodels and repipes. In spring of 2004, Jackson County plumbing inspector, Ron Fricke, gave the team quite a compliment after inspecting an 8800 sq ft house they had plumbed. When commenting on our work, he said, “In all my years of inspecting houses, this is the best plumbed house I’ve ever seen.” When it comes to Josephine County plumbing, Murphy Plumbing is second to none.
From helping builders and contractors with construction and remodel projects to assisting landlords, property managers, realtors, and homeowners with their plumbing needs, Murphy Plumbing LLC strives to serve the community with honesty, excellent service, and high standards of quality in the work they do. We are very grateful that we have had the opportunity to serve the Rogue Valley since 1976 and look forward to serving you in the months and years to come!
